八仙塵爆3周年，熬過一千多天的復原路，不少傷友已逐漸走出陰霾。游泳教練陳薇涵在八仙樂園意外發生當下，為搶救同行友人重返火場受傷，受傷面積達三度、66.5%，前後歷經大大小小40次的手術，心情也從一開始的絕望，到現在轉為坦然，不但重新擔任最喜愛的游泳教練，更回到海中衝浪。
台北榮總當年收治多達43位病患，其中6位燒傷面積超過80%，占全國4分之1。院方今（27）日舉辦「八仙塵爆3周年傷友回娘家」活動，為到場的31位傷友打氣。
27歲的陳薇涵回憶，當年入場不過短短10分鐘，就看到一片火光，緊接著哀號和尖叫聲四起，而重返火場搶救同行朋友的她，獲救送醫後昏迷了1個多月，醒來時只見自己全身有66.5%的嚴重燒燙傷，人生一切都變了。
在台北榮總收治傷患當中，自己是倒數第5人出院，陳微涵說，當時心情一度焦慮，還好康復速度逐漸追上進度，現在的她不但又能游泳，也常找其他傷者一同游泳，調適心情之後，更懂得要活在當下。
當時年僅13歲的李竣毅是意外中年紀最小的傷者，也是台北榮總最後一位出院傷患。初期受傷面積高達90%，原本因為營養問題導致復原狀況不佳，經家屬及醫療團隊9個月的細心照料，身高由154公分抽高至170公分，體重也由39公斤增至60公斤，要升高一的他感謝同學們的協助，更吐露將來夢想是要念外語系。
台北榮總外科部重建整形外科主任彭成康欣慰的說，目前大部分傷患都恢復良好，儘管仍需穿彈性衣甚至定期手術，但大多數人的狀況穩定，也多虧有親友支持，甚至於是病友之間互相打氣，這才能夠一路挺過外人難以想像的艱辛復健。
